Privacy Policy

Clem is a Notion content planner that auto posts to Instagram and TikTok. This page explains exactly what data Clem touches, why, and who it passes through. The short version: we only use your data to run the planner and post on your behalf, and we don't sell it.

What we access

• Your Notion content. When you connect Notion and pick a database, we read the posts in it — captions, images and videos, and scheduled dates — so we can show your planner and publish on schedule. We only read the database you choose.
• Your TikTok account. When you connect TikTok, we read your basic profile (your username, profile photo, and account ID) so we can show which account is linked. With your permission we upload and publish the videos you schedule to your profile. We never see your TikTok password, and we don't read your follower stats, private data, or anything else.
• Your Instagram account. Same idea: basic profile info to show the connected account, plus permission to publish the posts you schedule.
• Account and billing. Your email for your Clem account, and payment details handled by Stripe. We don't store your card number.

How we use it

We use this data for one thing: to run Clem. That means showing your content calendar, scheduling posts, and publishing them to the accounts you connected at the times you set. We don't sell your data, and we don't use your content or account info for advertising.

Who it's shared with

To make Clem work, your data passes through a few services we rely on:

• Post For Me — handles the connections to Instagram and TikTok. It stores the authorization tokens for your connected accounts, temporarily hosts the media being posted, and makes the actual posts through the platforms' official APIs.
• Notion — where your content lives and what we read from, with your authorization.
• Stripe — processes your subscription payment.
• Render — hosts the Clem app.
• Google Analytics — gives us anonymous usage statistics for our website, like which pages get visited, so we can improve Clem. In the EU, EEA, and UK it only runs if you accept it in the cookie banner.

We share only what each one needs to do its job, and we don't pass your data to anyone else.

TikTok data, specifically

Information Clem obtains from TikTok (your basic profile and the permission to upload and publish videos) is used only to identify your connected account and to publish the content you schedule. We don't use it for any other purpose, we don't share it beyond the services above, and you can cut off access at any time.

Analytics and cookies

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how people use Clem, like which pages get visited and which buttons get clicked. This data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally. If you're in the EU, EEA, or UK, analytics stays off unless you accept it in the cookie banner, and you can change your mind at any time.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your connection and scheduling information for as long as your account is active. If your free trial ends without a subscription, we keep your setup saved for a while so you can pick up where you left off. When you disconnect an account, cancel, or ask us to delete your data, we remove it and revoke the stored access. You can also revoke Clem's access directly from your Instagram or TikTok settings whenever you want.

Security

Connections use official OAuth, so we never handle your platform passwords, and data is sent over encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll change the date above and, when it's a meaningful change, let you know in the app.
